So I am looking at rehearsal dinner dresses and I just cant find “the one”. Ok, so maybe really it isnt that important. But I feel like it is the one time I can splurge a little on this dress. I want something kind of glamorous (but not oscars glam) and kind of sexy but understated. I would love something that I would wear over and over again so I am not opposed to something a bit more $$. I am thinking I would wear it one night on our honeymoon and then to the many weddings we are attending this summer

I am not even going to talk about how crazy and out of control my life is right now…hence the lack of posts. I would try to say I will do better but I don’t want to make any empty promises. All I can say is that one day I long to be able to have daily, interesting posts…who knows when that will happen.
Anyhow…I wanted to share something I found on doobybrain.com
Basically the post says to pick up your right foot and rotate it clockwise…as you are doing that write the number 6 on a piece of paper….notice something weird with your foot? It changes direction!!!!!!!!! And there is nothing you can do about it. So strange, huh?

I looked up my numerology for this coming year and with everything that is already weighing on me I have to say this sounds just about right. While vague and not really descriptive you could say that this could apply to any situation or anyone. Sure…I have a ton of other stuff going on in my life that may fit into any of the other personal year numbers but I have to agree that year 4 is where I do feel like my life is headed.This year I vow to get my career back on into focus (hehe). This past year was such a year of transition that it has left me feeling unsettled. With such a fantastic future (with a terrific guy) ahead of me I plan on focusing my attention on becoming a better me. Personally, emotionally and career-wise. Organization is a big part of this. I want to unclutter my life and not feel so trapped under all of my stuff & todos. Focusing on my personal life (the wedding) is number #1 and focusing on photography is number #2. So much to do this year on both fronts. I am sure it will be a whirlwind of a year.Numerology: The personal year.Personal Year 4. . . .Hard work and slow, but steady progressThis is a number 4 personal year for you. The previous year frivolity will now be truly forgotten, as the facts of life are clearly spelled out. This is a year of hard work and effort when one must knuckle down to the task at hand. A year of digging in and hoeing, a reestablishment of self-control. In many ways, however, it is a frustrating year, when considerable effort fails to produce dramatic results. Seriously….Life has been completely hectic. When I have even just a second to breathe my mind is racing a million miles a sec on what needs done next. Mostly my life right now consists of work and wedding planning. When I am not working I am doing things for the wedding. I am sooooooooooo behind on so much stuff it is ridiculous. I do need to play some catch up. I wish it were as simple as me slacking cause that would be easily fixed. Ugh. Does life ever feel this way for you?
Some side notes:
I had my first photography clients the other day. Neighbors of ours that just had a baby girl (well we did the shoot before she went into labor). I got some cute shots and am excited about the possibilities of it all. I am still working on editing, printing and all that goes into it. I will try to post some here once I am done.
Ben & I spent some time today working on our registry…ok we spent ALL day at the stores. I won’t share them here quite yet but I am sure you could find it if you really wanted. We are still working on editing it down and putting things on there that we need and are in a good price range. We went a little scanner happy so it definitely needs some editing. I am hoping to take some time tomorrow to finish it up. If you have some tips/advice on what to get, brands of knives, blenders, mixers, etc. please let me know in the comments.
Our date is set! Ok not quite yet. We still need to sign the contract but if all goes well I will officially become a Mrs. on April 19th, 2008!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! So excited. It just makes me smile. 
Now all of the other decisions need to be made. April is going to come quick.
Who else can’t believe that Thanksgiving is just around the corner? We are going up to PA from Thurs-Sun and we will be BUSY! I am going dress shopping! (how is it that every tidbit is followed by some wedding info…haha)
Ben is OBSESSED with builting us bookcases for our empty-meant-for-bookcases space in our living room. When he bought the place he opted for them to not put the bookcases in. I believe it would have been more $$ and how they do them looks ridiculous. I am slightly worried but he having my dad help out so I know he will be able to get some good advice from him. Cross your fingers it all goes well.
Oh, also getting EXCITED about Christmas. Definitely my favorite holiday. All of the decorations, carols, hot chocolate/hot cider, sitting by the fire, family tidings and all that. This year I get to have a stocking at my own house! I need to find some cute stocking holders for Ben & I and stockings. I am very anxious to decorate and put up our tree.
So….nothing too interesting going on here. I promise I will be back to post some pictures from Halloween and give you a sneak peek of our reception site!
